Fantastic location. Great hotel and fantastic staff. One if the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in in the city. The room was good sized and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very big and very clean. Great views from my room and I loved the vibe around the hotel. The library room is a great place to work for a few hours and a very nice atmosphere at the bar in the evening.

Location is very good near subway. Nice to have a coffee shop in lobby. Very helpful desk and bell staff.

Obviously location. Some great cafés and restaurants in the vicinity. A short walk from Central Park and Riverside Drive.

The location is excellent for us - close to major Metro lines, various museums, Central Park, and many different eateries. We have stayed here a number of times already, and always appreciate the professional and helpful staff plus the clean and comfortable rooms. Space can be tight, so we opted for an upgrade to give us a bit more elbow room.

We were amazed by the size of our room and loved the view of Broadway. The location was an A+, lots of things to do within walking distance and easy access to the subway.

Room very big for New York. We booked one of the cheaper/smaller rooms and so we were pleasantly surprised. Plenty of room for two large suitcases and to move about with ease. Great coffee maker in the room and towels were replaced daily- along with daily housekeeping. No view but it actually was lovely to come back to a darker, cooler room after a day of walking and sightseeing.

The location is excellent, especially if one does not care to be right in the hub-bub of the touristy sites. Hotel has clean rooms. We stayed at a Superior Queen room. In a previous trip we stayed at a Superior King with Broadway View, which was much nicer (and more expensive). The neighborhood is very nice, with many eating options within a 2-3 block radius in any direction.

Great location; safe, quiet (for NYC), family friendly and near the subway. The beds were really comfortable and the room was large and well maintained. The room and whole hotel were super clean and generally well maintained. There's plenty of places to eat nearby (and a Starbucks) as well as a couple of small supermarkets. The Museum of Natural History is a block or two away. Note that it's a long walk to midtown so be prepared to take the subway there.
